First Myanmar Investment held a press conference at the Yangon Stock Exchange on July 2 to reveal its new mission statement and record-breaking revenue. To better reflect on the organization’s focus on the next stage of growth, FMI’s new mission states, “ To Build a Better Myanmar for its People.”

U Tun Tun, FMI’s newly appointed Chief Operating Officer also announced that within the financial year, FMI’s total revenue exceeded 200 billion kyats, mainly attributing the revenue growth to its finance and health sectors, Yoma Bank and Pun Hlaing Siloam Hospitals. The Group’s Real Estate segment is anticipating strong interests due to the launch of sales of The Peninsula Residences Yangon. FMI was ranked as the most transparent company in 2016 and 2018 in the Pwint Thit Sa reports.
