U Tun Tun joined the FMI Group in 1998. He has been an Executive Director of FMI since 2009 and currently also serves as FMI’s Chief Operating Officer. Over the years, he has held various positions at both operational and corporate levels, and has overseen many of the FMI Group’s companies and joint ventures. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (UK).
Daw Zarchi Tin is an Executive Director of FMI and also currently serves as the Head of Finance and Investment. Daw Zarchi Tin joined the FMI Group in 2013 as the Executive Director of Yoma Bank and was appointed as the Director of Strategic Development at FMI in 2017. Prior to joining the FMI Group, Daw Zarchi Tin has over 15 years of professional experience in international corporations across various industries including business development, corporate strategy and investment banking. She presently serves as the Non-Executive Director of Yoma Bank and FMIDecaux, she is also the Chairperson of the Business Coalition for Gender Equality.
Daw Zarchi Tin holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Strategy from the University of Oxford in England, an MBA in Finance from the University of Ottawa in Canada, and a B.A. in Economics from Vesalius College in Belgium. She has obtained the Board of Director Certification by the Institute of Directors in Thailand.
Dr. Ye Moe Myint currently serves as Deputy Head of the Group Government Relations Department since 1 February 2018. He was the Associate Medical Director in 2008 and Hospital Administrator in 2009. He has also worked as the Network and Development Executive Director for PHSH. Dr. Ye Moe Myint was elected as the President of the Myanmar Private Hospitals’ Association in 2012 and is currently serving his second term in that capacity. Dr. Ye Moe Myint received his medical degree from the Institute of Medicine (1) in 1989.
U Kyi Aye currently serves as a Senior Director in the Group Government Relations Department. He joined SPA in 2013, the same year he retired from Myanma Railways as the General Manager. U Kyi Aye is a former Government Official and has served in the Armed Forces of Myanmar, Ministry of Industry No. (2) and Ministry of Rail Transportation for over 40 years. He is also a former member of the Board of FMI, where he served as a representative of the Central Railways Welfare Society from 1997 to 2006.
U Maw Thein joined SPA in 2012 as the Chief Operating Officer of FMI Flotilla Company Ltd. He is a Senior Director of the Group Government Relations Department. He retired as a Naval Officer in 2008 with the rank of Commodore. While in the Navy. U Maw Thein served on naval vessels and on-shore establishments including the offices of the Commander-in-Chief (Navy) and Quarter Master General, in various capacities.
Daw Chaw Su Linn is currently the Financial Controller of the FMI Group. She joined FMI Group as the Finance Manager in January 2017. She was also the former Deputy Head of Finance at Yoma Bank. She has over 10 years of experience in the Finance and Accounting field with significant exposure to banking and manufacturing industries in Singapore, Australia and Myanmar. She holds a Bachelor of Finance from Australian National University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Mr. Hal George Bosher is the Advisor to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Yoma Bank based in Yangon. Mr. Bosher spent 10 years with the World Bank Group at both the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency. A Canadian national, Mr. Bosher holds a BA in economics and political science from McGill University in Montreal, an MA from the John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS-USA) and a MBA from IESE Business School (Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa) in Spain.
Mr. Vijay Kumar Maheshwari was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Yoma Bank in 2016. He is responsible for finance, treasury, business planning, MIS and Business Analytics. Mr. Maheshwari had worked for 26 years with Standard Chartered Bank, including 10 years as chief financial officer across India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam and London. An Indian national, Mr. Maheshwari is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an alumnus of Oxford Business School.
Daw Aye Aye Soe joined Yoma Bank as a Branch Manager in 1999, and is now an Executive Director and a member of the Executive Committee. She has extensive experience in the national banking institution including CBM, Myanmar Foreign Trade Bank, and Myanmar Economic Bank. She was the Chief Accountant at First Private Bank for five years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking from the Institute of Economics (Yangon) in 1991. Daw Aye Aye Soe is a Certified Public Accountant.
U Ba Maung Sein joined Yoma Bank in 2014 and is currently the Chief Operations Officer. His professional career began as an insurance underwriter in Dallas, Texas, USA. He also held operation, finance and consulting positions in retail, manufacturing and information technology sectors in the USA and Canada. U Ba Maung Sein holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in the United States, and an MBA from McGill University in Canada.
Mr. Murray Macdougall joined Yoma Bank in May 2015 as Deputy Chief Operating Officer overseeing the operations of the retail division. In September 2017, he was appointed to a new role of Chief Performance Officer. Mr. Macdougall has had an extensive 40-year career, focusing within the retail banking area across the globe including Australia, the Pacific Islands, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Laos, Cambodia, Qatar and the UAE.
Mr. Mark Flaming was appointed as Yoma Bank’s Chief Digital Advisor in September 2017. Prior to joining Yoma Bank, he was the Manager of the Pacific Financial Inclusion Programme Innovation Facility. Until 2016, Mr. Flaming was the Chief Business Development Officer who led Microcred’s group strategy in developing markets. He has worked primarily to deliver a new experience to financial service customers. Mr. Flaming has a Master’s degree from Harvard University in International Development.
U Kyaw Soe Lin is the founder of Yoma Bank’s IT department and is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer of Yoma Bank. He has vast experience and expertise over operations, programming, database management, telecommunications, networking and project management. U Kyaw Soe Lin graduated with B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics from Yangon University. He also holds a Master of Information Science from the University of Computer Studies, Yangon.
Daw Than Than Win, Tiffany currently serves as Yoma Bank’s Chief Risk Officer. Prior to joining Yoma Bank in 2014, she had worked as the Deputy General Manager in the Credit and Risk Department at KBZ Bank. Daw Than Than Win, Tiffany graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Yangon University and has 20 years’ experience working in financial institutions. She furthered her studies in Toronto, Canada where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Honours) from York University.
Daw Ommar Sein joined Yoma Bank in September 2014 and currently serves as Advisor and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining Yoma Bank, Daw Ommar Sein was part of the Research and Training Department of CBM, where she first joined as a Statistical Assistant and remained for over 38 years until her retirement. She was also a member of the drafting committee that worked on the 2002 Control of Money Laundering Law. Daw Ommar Sein holds a B.Econ (MS) degree from the Institute of Economics.
Daw Nang Khin Khin Gyi returned to Myanmar to join Yoma Bank in 2016 as Deputy Chief Audit Officer. Before she returned to Myanmar, she worked for over 10 years in the United States as an auditor. She holds a Master of International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University, Massachusetts, a B.SC in Management from University of Massachusetts, and an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Bard College at Simon’s Rock, Massachusetts. She is also a certified Internal Auditor.
Dr. Gershu Chandy Paul is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of PHSH. He has over 25 years of international healthcare experience at an executive level. He received his Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Bangalore, India in 1986, and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1997. In addition, Dr. Paul graduated as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian Medical College of Administrators (FRACMA), Melbourne, Australia in 2006.
Dr. Thet Thet Khine joined PHSH as Microbiologist and Pharmacy Manager in 2005. In 2010, she was appointed as Medical Business Director and in 2014, she was promoted to Managing Director (Operations) of PHSH, to oversee hospital operations including building the hospital’s nationwide network. She received a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1993, and a Master of Medicine Microbiology (M.Med.Sc, Microbiology) in 2003 from the Institute of Medicine (1) in Yangon.
Professor Khin Htun is currently the Clinical Excellence Director at PHSH, leading the Clinical Governance and training agenda for PHSH. Professor Khin Htun has more than 35 years of clinical and teaching service experience under the Ministry of Health in Myanmar and 10 years experience as a Professor and Head of Department of Surgery at University Malaysia Sarawak. He is the first Myanmar surgeon to be awarded the Fellowship Ad Eundem from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Dr. Ohnmar Shein joined PHSH in 2005 as Senior Medical Officer. In 2014, she was promoted as Clinical and Ancillary Support Services Director. Dr. Ohnmar Shein, together with Dr. Gershu Paul, and Dr. Thet Thet Khine, developed and introduced Myanmar’s first tiered pricing service model which aims to create accessibility and affordability to all socioeconomic segments in Myanmar.
Professor Win Myint currently serves as the Clinical Excellence Director of PHSH. He worked as a consulting surgeon from 2005 to 2010 and as a Medical Director from 2010 to June 2014. He served as Professor and Head of the Surgery Department at the University of Medicine in Mandalay and Yangon. Professor Win Myint graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) from the Institute of Medicine (1) in 1968. He also holds M.Med.Sc (Surgery) and F.R.C.S degrees.
Dr. Mi Mi Khin has been serving as the Facilities and Administration Director of PHSH since 2014. Dr. Mi Mi Khin joined the Pun Hlaing Specialist Clinic as a Senior Medical Officer in February 2006 after working in her own clinic for over 20 years as general practitioner. She was promoted to Clinic Manager of Pun Hlaing Specialist Clinic in 2009, and subsequently in 2011, the Assistant Administration Director of PHSH. Her key projects to date have been the transformation of PHSH, Mandalay Hospital Greenfield completion and Pun Hlaing Clinic ‘Medical Tower’ model development and completion. Dr. Mi Mi Khin obtained her M.B.B.S. in 1986.
Dr. Zaw Win Sandy is currently the Talent Management Director of PHSH. She first joined PHSH as Customer Relation Manager in 2011. In 2014, she was promoted as Interim Talent Management Director. In her current role, she is responsible for manpower planning, recruitment and relation, career development and general HR. She holds a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from James Cook University, Australia.
Mr. Stephen Purvis was appointed as the Project Director for Yoma Central in April 2015. He joined the Yoma Group in December 2013 as the Project Director for StarCity. In November 2017, he was appointed as a director and General Manager for the Yoma Central joint venture company MDL. Prior to joining the Yoma Group, Mr. Purvis was a director in Coral Capital Group Ltd, a Cuba-focused country fund, where he oversaw long-term equity real estate projects, including the design, funding, construction and operation of a portfolio of hotels under the Hotel Saratoga brand. Mr. Purvis holds a Bachelors of Arts (Hons) degree in Architecture from Newcastle University, England, and a Bachelor in Architecture from Westminster University, England.
Daw Le` Le` Win currently serves as the Managing Director of F.M.I Garden Development Limited as well as an Alternate Director of SPA. She joined SPA/FMI Group in 1993.
Daw Tin Winn Nge is currently the General Manager of StarCity. She joined the Yoma Group in 2002. She has served in various positions during her more than 16 years with the Yoma Group, including extensive experience in sales and marketing, hotel management and real estate management. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Yangon University, and then furthered her studies in hotel and restaurant management, receiving a diploma from the United States.
Since February 2011, U Than Htut Naing has served as Senior Project Manager for StarCity, and is responsible for utilities & infrastructure development projects and new residential projects as well. Upon graduation from Yangon Institute of Technology in June 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Power Engineering, he joined the Yoma Group in February 1997 as an Engineer and worked at FMI City until November 1998. He worked at Pun Hlaing Estate from November 1998 to June 2007.
Mr. Cyrus Pun is an Executive Director and CEO of Memories Group. He is responsible for overseeing Memories Group. He was appointed as the new CEO and Executive Director of the company in January 2019. In February 2007, Mr. Cyrus Pun joined SPA and assumed a leading role in the development of Grand Central in Dalian, PRC. Prior to joining SPA, he worked for Hutchison Port Holdings in the South China Commercial Division based in Hong Kong SAR. Mr. Cyrus Pun received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the London School of Economics in 2003.
Mr. Steven Nelson joined the Yoma Group in 1995 as a Project Manager for the Sand River Golf Club in Shenzhen, China. In 1997 he commenced and planned the development of Pun Hlaing Estate in Myanmar and was appointed Project Director in 2001. In 2007 he led the real estate development of apartment and townhouses in Pun Hlaing Estate and Zone A in StarCity. Mr Nelson was born and educated in Australia. He has extensive experience in the areas of construction engineering management, quantity survey, design management, infrastructure development and project management in Asia and Australia.
Mr. Brad Richard Jones is the Chief Executive Officer of Wave Money. He was a retail payments and mobile money consultant to the World Bank Group and Grameen Foundation, and was also the founding Managing Director of WING Cambodia, the first bank-led mobile money deployment in Asia. Mr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University in Australia, and Post-graduate Business Qualifications from the University of Queensland.
U Tin Htut Oo currently serves as the Head of the Agriculture Division at Yoma Strategic. U Tin Htut Oo is a retired Director General of the Department of Agricultural Planning, Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation. He has served as a National and International Consultant with the United Nations and International Organisations. U Tin Htut Oo served as the Chairman of the National Economic and Advisory Council from 2012 to 2016 and was an Economic Advisor to former President U Thein Sein.
Mr. Jean-Marie Imperore is currently the Managing Director of FMIDecaux. He has worked for 20 years at JCDecaux. Since 2006, Mr. Imperore has been the Development and Operations Director at JCDecaux China, specifically in charge of the implementation of new projects, organisation, and operations’ improvement. Mr. Imperore also held different posts in other countries. Since 2014, he was the Managing Director of JCDecaux Mongolia. He holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Dijon from France.
