U Tun Tun has been with the SPA and FMI group of companies since 1998. He has been an Executive Director of FMI since 2009 and currently also serves as its Chief Operating Officer. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Memories Group. Over the years, he has held various positions at both operational and corporate levels and has overseen many of the Group’s subsidiaries and joint ventures. U Tun Tun is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (UK).
Dr. Ye Moe Myint has been a Senior Director and Deputy Head of the Group Government Relations Department since February 2018. He was the Associate Medical Director in 2008 and Hospital Administrator in 2009. He has also worked as the Network and Development Executive Director for PHSH. Dr. Ye Moe Myint was elected as the President of the Myanmar Private Hospitals’ Association from 2012 to 2018. He received his medical degree from the Institute of Medicine (1), Yangon in 1989.
U Kyi Aye currently serves as the Senior Director and Deputy Head of the Group Government Relations Department. U Kyi Aye was a former government official and has served in the Armed Forces of Myanmar, Ministry of Industry No. (2) and Ministry of Rail Transportation for over 40 years. He joined SPA in 2013, the same year he retired from Myanma Railways as the General Manager. He was also a former member of the Board of FMI from 1997 to 2006, where he served as a representative of the Central Railways Welfare Society.
U Maw Thein joined SPA in 2012 as the Chief Operating Officer of F M I Flotilla Company Limited. He has been a Senior Director of the Group Government Relations Department since 2013. He retired as Commodore (Navy) in 2008. While in the Navy, U Maw Thein served on naval vessels and on-shore establishments including the offices of the Commander-in-Chief (Navy) and Ministry of Defense (Quartermaster – General) in various capacities.
Daw Thiri Kalyar is the Financial Controller of FMI, having assumed the position from September 2019. She is responsible for the Group’s financial consolidation and treasury management. Prior to this role, she has been working in the accounting and finance fields for 15 years, which include 10 years working experiences in wider Yoma Group. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Masters in Business Administration from Yangon University of Economics. Daw Thiri Kalyar is also a professionally qualified accountant and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) (UK).
Mr. Dean Cleland (“Mr. Cleland”) assumed the role of the Chief Executive Officer of Yoma Bank since September 2019. With over 35 years of international banking experience across the Asia Pacific, he has built up expertise in Financial Services in the areas of Banking, Operations, Technology, Digital, Property & Enterprise Services and Major Transformation. Before joining Yoma Bank, Mr. Cleland worked as an Executive General Manager at National Australia Bank (“NAB”) for the past 7 years working in Singapore and Australia. Prior to NAB, Mr. Cleland also worked at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (“ANZ”) for 30 years in various roles, including as founding Chief Executive Officer of ANZ Royal Bank in Cambodia.
Mr. Vijay Kumar Maheshwari (“Mr. Maheshwari”) was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Yoma Bank in 2016. He is responsible for finance, treasury, business planning, Management Information System (MIS) and business analytics. Mr. Maheshwari had worked for 26 years with Standard Chartered Bank, including 10 years as Chief Financial Officer across India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam and London. An Indian national, Mr. Maheshwari is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an alumnus of Oxford Business School.
Daw Aye Aye Soe joined Yoma Bank as a Branch Manager in 1999, and in the last 15 years since has steadily rose to her present position as an Executive Director and a member of the Executive Committee. Her sound knowledge of the Myanmar banking industry originates since 1991 from her extensive experiences in many banking institutions including the CBM, Myanma Foreign Trade Bank, and Myanma Economic Bank. Prior to joining Yoma Bank, she was the Chief Accountant at First Private Bank for six years. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Commerce in Banking from the Institute of Economics (Yangon) in 1991 and she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
U Ba Maung Sein joined Yoma Bank in 2014 and is currently the Chief Operations Officer. His professional career began as an insurance underwriter in Dallas, Texas, USA. He also held operation, finance and consulting positions in the retail, manufacturing and information technology sectors in the USA and Canada. U Ba Maung Sein holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, USA and an MBA from McGill University in Canada.
Mr. Murray Macdougall (“Mr. Macdougall”) joined Yoma Bank in May 2015 as the Deputy Chief Operating Officer overseeing the operations of the retail division. In September 2017, he was appointed to his current role as Chief Performance Officer. Mr. Macdougall has had an extensive 40-year career, focusing on the retail banking sector across the globe including Australia, the Pacific Islands, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Laos, Cambodia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
U Kyaw Soe Lin was instrumental in establishing Yoma Bank’s IT department and is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer. He has vast experience and expertise over operations, programming, database management, telecommunications, networking and project management. U Kyaw Soe Lin graduated with B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics from Yangon University. He also holds a Master’s in Information Science from the University of Computer Studies, Yangon.
Daw Than Than Win @ Tiffany currently serves as Yoma Bank’s Chief Risk Officer. Prior to joining Yoma Bank in 2014, she had worked as the Deputy General Manager in the Credit and Risk Department at KBZ Bank. Daw Than Than Win @ Tiffany graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Yangon University and has 20 years of experience working in financial institutions. She furthered her studies in Toronto, Canada where she graduated with a Bachelor in Accounting (Honours) from York University.
Daw Nang Khin Khin Gyi returned to Myanmar to join Yoma Bank in 2016 as Deputy Chief Audit Officer. Before she returned to Myanmar, she had worked for over 10 years in the United States as an auditor. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University, Massachusetts, a B.SC in Management from University of Massachusetts, and an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Bard College at Simon’s Rock, Massachusetts. She is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Dr. Gershu Chandy Paul (“Dr. Paul”) is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of PHSH. He has over 25 years of international healthcare experience at an executive level. He received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Bangalore, India in 1986, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1997. In addition, Dr. Paul graduated as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA), Melbourne, Australia in 2006.
Ms. Tan Guat Ngoh (“Ms. Tan”) joined PHSH in April 2019 as the Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for PHSH’s overall financial and capital resources management as well as information and communications technology functions. Ms. Tan possesses over 20 years of experience in auditing, finance and accounting with a one of the big-four public-accounting firms in Singapore, public-listed and private companies across various industries including energy utility, real estate and healthcare. Ms. Tan is a graduate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Dr. Thet Thet Khine joined PHSH as a microbiologist and pharmacy manager in 2005. In 2010, she was appointed as a Medical Business Director. In 2014, she was promoted to Managing Director (Operations) of PHSH to oversee hospital operations including building the hospital’s nationwide network. She received a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1993, and a Master in Medicine Microbiology in 2003 from the Institute of Medicine (1) in Yangon.
Professor Khin Htun is the Clinical Excellence Director at PHSH, leading the Clinical Governance and training agenda for PHSH. Professor Khin Htun has more than 35 years of clinical and teaching service experience under the Ministry of Health in Myanmar and 10 years of experience as a Professor and Head of Department of Surgery at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. He is the first Myanmar surgeon to be awarded the Fellowship Ad Eundem from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Dr. Ohnmar Shein joined PHSH in 2005 as a Senior Medical Officer. In 2014, she was promoted to Clinical and Ancillary Support Services Director. Dr. Ohnmar Shein, together with Dr. Paul, and Dr. Thet Thet Khine, developed and introduced Myanmar’s first tiered pricing service model which aims to create accessibility and affordability to all socio-economic segments in Myanmar.
Professor Win Myint currently serves as the Clinical Excellence Director of PHSH. He worked as a consulting surgeon from 2005 to 2010 and as a Medical Director from 2010 to 2014. He served as Professor and Head of the Surgery Department at the University of Medicine in Mandalay and Yangon. Professor Win Myint graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Institute of Medicine (1) in 1968. He also holds M.Med.Sc (Surgery) and F.R.C.S degrees.
Dr. Mi Mi Khin has been serving as the Facilities and Administration Director of PHSH since 2014. Dr. Mi Mi Khin joined the Pun Hlaing Specialist Clinic as a Senior Medical Officer in February 2006 after working in her own clinic for over 20 years as general practitioner. She was promoted to Clinic Manager of Pun Hlaing Specialist Clinic in 2009, and subsequently in 2011, the Assistant Administration Director of PHSH. Her key projects to date have been the transformation of PHSH, Mandalay Hospital Greenfield completion and Pun Hlaing Clinic ‘Medical Tower’ model development and completion. Dr. Mi Mi Khin obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1986.
Mr. Stephen Purvis (“Mr. Purvis”) was appointed as the Head of Yoma Land in January 2019. He has been with the Yoma Group since 2013 and was the Project Director and subsequently the General Manager for the Yoma Central project since 2015. He also spearheaded the master planning of StarCity. Mr. Purvis has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate market including developing substantial mixed-use city centre projects in emerging and developed markets.
Prior to joining the Yoma Group, Mr. Purvis was a director at Coral Capital Group Ltd, a Cuba-focused country fund, where he oversaw long-term equity real estate projects, including the design, funding, construction and operation of a portfolio of hotels under the Hotel Saratoga brand. Mr. Purvis is a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Architecture from Newcastle University, England and a Bachelors in Architecture from Westminster University, England.
Daw Tin Winn Nge was appointed as the General Manager for StarCity in 2017. She joined the Yoma Group in 2002 and has served in various positions, including extensive experience in sales and marketing, hotel management and real estate management. Daw Tin Winn Nge graduated with a Bachelor Degree (Zoology) from Yangon University and then furthered her studies in hotel and restaurant management, receiving a diploma from the United States.
Mr. Cyrus Pun (“Mr. Pun”) started his career working in the export industry in China and worked for Hutchison Port Holdings’ South China Commercial Division. Mr. Pun joined SPA in 2007 and assumed a leading role in the development of a mixed-use real estate project in Dalian, China.
Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Memories Group, Mr. Pun was an Executive Director of Yoma Strategic and headed its real estate business from 2012 to 2018. His last venture as Head of Real Estate of Yoma Strategic was to initiate its expansion into the affordable housing segment. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of Yoma Strategic. Mr. Pun received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics in 2003 and an Executive M.B.A. from Kellogg-HKUST in 2019.
Daw Chaw Su Linn is currently the Financial Controller of the Memories Group. Prior to joining the Memories Group, she was the financial controller of FMI since January 2017, where she oversaw the financial and accounting operations of FMI, managed the cash flow and prepared and published timely financial statements. She has over 10 years of experience in the finance and accounting field with significant exposure to the banking and manufacturing industries in Singapore, Australia and Myanmar. She holds a Bachelor of Finance from Australian National University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Mr Hal Bosher is the Chairman of Board of Wave Money and an Advisor to the Board of Yoma Bank. Mr Bosher was the Chief Executive Officer of Yoma Bank until September 2019. He led Yoma Bank’s transformation for seven years after moving to Yangon in 2012. He co-founded Wave Money while at Yoma Bank
Prior to joining Yoma Bank, Mr. Bosher spent 10 years with the World Bank Group at both the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (“MIGA”). Most recently, he was MIGA’s Regional Representative for Northern Asia based in Hong Kong. While at MIGA, he founded the Agency’s private equity business supporting the development of frontier market funds. Prior to joining the World Bank, Mr. Bosher worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC), McKinsey & Co., and INSEAD Business School.
A Canadian national, Mr. Bosher holds a BA in economics and political science from McGill University in Montreal; an MA in International Finance and Southeast Asian Studies from the John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, DC; and an MBA from IESE Business School in Spain.
Mr. Brad Richard Jones (“Mr. Jones”) is the Chief Executive Officer of Wave Money, a role he has held for the last 4 years. Previously Mr. Jones headed mobile money and innovation for Visa in Asia Pacific, North Africa and the Middle East. Prior to Visa, Mr. Jones was the founding Managing Director of Wing Cambodia, the first bank-led mobile money deployment in Asia. Mr. Jones has worked in the financial services sector for 18 years, and is well known in the emerging payments and mobile money industry as a delivery-focused executive. Mr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University in Australia, and post-graduate business qualifications from the University of Queensland.
U Tin Htut Oo currently serves as the Head of the Agriculture Division at Yoma Strategic. U Tin Htut Oo is a retired Director General of the Department of Agricultural Planning, Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation. He has served as a National and International Consultant with the United Nations and International Organisations. U Tin Htut Oo served as the Chairman of the National Economic and Advisory Council from 2012 to 2016 and was an Economic Advisor to former President U Thein Sein. Currently, he is serving as Senior Advisor to UMFCCI and Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF).
Mr. Jean-Marie Imperore (“Mr. Imperore”) is currently the Managing Director of FMIDecaux. He has worked for 20 years at JCDecaux. Since 2006, Mr. Imperore has been the Development and Operations Director at JCDecaux China, specifically in charge of the implementation of new projects, organisation, and operations’ improvement. Mr. Imperore also held different posts in other countries. Between 2014 and 2018, he was the Managing Director of JCDecaux Mongolia. He holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Dijon in France.
