First Myanmar Investment Public Co., Ltd. held its Special General Meeting (SGM) at the National Theater in Yangon on January 12, 2019. The purpose of this year’s SGM is to convey: the adoption of the new FMI constitution according to the new Companies Law, the name change of the company to ” First Myanmar Investment Public Company Limited” and to give mandate to the board of directors to issue new shares when necessary. All the proposed resolutions are approved by voting of the shareholders who attended the SGM.
